Two Paris Women Arrested on Separate Charges
Yesterday, May 26th, the Paris Police arrested 25-year-old Amanda Marie Whitten, of Paris, at about 11:18 P.M. Officers were summoned to the 800 block of SE 3rd St. in reference to a disturbance.
Whitten was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for attempting to assault a 35 year old victim with a home made pair of nunchucks. Whitten was later transported to the Lamar County Jail.
Early this morning, Paris police officers responded to a call of a public intoxication and arrested 36 year old Jillian Michelle Ingram. Ingram was found to have two state jail felony warrants for her arrest charging her with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance. Ingram was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
