Paris weekend activity include arrests for aggravated sexual assault, possession of drugs
Paris police responded to 308 calls over the three-day weekend, resulting in 15 arrests, department spokesman Curtis Garrett said Monday.
- Jesse Garon Reagan, 29, of Paris was taken into custody at his residence on Friday on one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact. He was taken to the Lamar County Jail.
- Tammy Marie Rose, 47, of Paris was arrested while walking in the 1100 block of Pine Bluff Street. She was served with a warrant charging her with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance. While she was beiong booked at the police department, officers found that she was in possession of numerous pills not prescribed to her, leading to a charge of possession of a dangerous drug. She was taken to the Lamar County Jail.
- About 3:15 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 3200 block of Clarksville Street. Police found a small hand gun on the ground, but were unable to determine who discharged the weapon.
- About 7:40 p.m. Saturday, police officers met with a person in the Paris Police Department lobby who reported being harassed by a drug dealer that the individual reported owing money to. Both complainant and suspect are from the Dallas area, Garrett said. The complainant reported receiving threatening and harassing messages by phone. Garrett said the complainant did not wish to file charges.
