Copper wiring reported stolen from three cell towers around Paris
More than 50 feet of copper wiring was stolen from three cell towers around the Paris area, a representative of American Tower Company reported to Paris police.
the thefts reportedly occurred over the past two months, police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.
Someone either climbed over a fence or knew the combinations to the locks at the three cell towers, company officials speculated.
Paris police responded to 107 calls for service on Monday, resulting in six arrests, Garrett said.
