Paris convenience store reportedly robbed by man with shotgun
The clerk of a Paris convenience store reported an armed robbery about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, about two hours after a similar robbery was reported in Hugo, Paris police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.
When Paris police officers responded to the store in the 2600 block of Lamar Avenue, a clerk said a light-skinned black man entered the store, brandished a shotgun and demanded the money from the cash register.
The clerk said he gave the suspect the money, and the suspect left on foot. Officers were also notified that a similar incident had occurred just before midnight in Hugo, Oklahoma.
No one was injured in the incident and the investigation continues, Garrett said.
