Paris Police responded to 114 calls for service and arrested 7 persons on May 6, 2014. Of the calls for service, there were two burglaries of motor vehicles, two motor vehicle accidents, three disturbances, one identity theft, one burglary of a residence, and two thefts reported.
At about 9:26 P.M. on May 6, 2014, Camesha Miosha Gill was arrested when officers responded to a disturbance at George Wright Homes. As officers were speaking with Gill, it was found that she had outstanding traffic warrants. As officers were attempting to arrest Gill, she became combative and assaulted one of the officers. Gill was charged with resisting arrest and assault on a public servant.
