A man called the police department on Wednesday morning to report that he’d found a woman’s body on his property near the feed mill.
According to police, the investigation is continuing regarding the discovery and the body has been sent to the Dallas area for forensic testing, but no information has been officially released on how long the body had been there before discovery.
“There is no additional information available regarding the investigation of the deceased person found yesterday morning,” Chief Hundley said just before 8 a.m. this morning. “We are expecting a positive identification will be made today.
