A Paris woman was arrested Wednesday night at the Walmart store in Paris after store officials reported seeing her remove cosmetics from packages and putting them in her purse.

Deanna Margaret Marshall, 52, was charged with felony theft when it was discovered she had at least two prior convictions for theft.

Marshall also was charged with criminal trespass because of an earlier warning not to return to the store, police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.

She was taken to the Lamar County Jail.
