Structure fire Thursday night on Cleveland Street

house fireThe Paris Fire Department responded with three engine companies, a rescue truck and the deputy chiefs command vehicle to a structure fire located at 1745 Cleveland at 7:19 P.M. Thursday night.

Fire, EMS and Police arrived on scene to find smoke and flames coming out of the home. The resident awoke to find her home on fire and ran next door to get help.

The fire was brought quickly brought under control. The fire damaged to the home was heavy with, one room and its contents being destroyed and the remainder of the home receiving heavy smoke and water damage. The home was not a total loss and will be able to be repaired.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the fire. Cause of the fire is undetermined and is under investigation at this time.
