Extra_Logo_Slider_SizeParis police and emergency personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call of an accidental shooting involving a 4-year-old child today, shortly after 1:30pm in the 4700 block of Bonham Street, according to Paris PD Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.

According to a family member, the parents were outside as the older brother was shooting guns, when a bullet ricocheted and struck the younger, 4-year-old, brother.  The child was transported to a Dallas hospital by helicopter, but seems to be in stable condition and was conscious and alert before being flown out.
