The child that was rendered unconscious after being choked by a rope tying a dog to a tree tragically died on Wednesday, January 30, from the injuries, according to Paris PD Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.
“Paris Investigators received a call from the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office and was advised that the unconscious child had passed away,” stated Officer Garrett. ”The incident is still being investigated.”
