Deputies with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a reported shooting in northern Lamar County in the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, according to officials.
Emergency medical personnel was immediately dispatched to the scene of the shooting.
According to sources, a victim received several gunshot wounds from a shotgun.
