Motorcyclist is injured when hit by SUV on NE Loop 286

Shortly before 10 a.m. Friday, a motorcycle traveling northwest in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286 was sturck by an SUV attempting to cross the roadway from the crossover into a trailer park, according to an investigator on scene.

The driver of the motorcycle was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas by helicopter, Paris Police Department spokesman Curtis Garrett said. The driver of the SUV was not injured, Garrett added.

The nanes of the drivers were unavailable yet, Garrett said.

The extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries also was not known.
